Soul Train Awards 2014: Chris Brown to Perform, Jodeci Reunites for New Single, Full List of Nominess

BET/Centric has announced the lineup of presenters and performers for the Soul Train Awards 2014. The awards ceremony should be extremely interesting this year, considering it will be hosted by none other than Wendy Williams.

In addition to Williams, celebrity presenters include Trey Songz, Boris Kodjoe, Laila Ali and Wolf Blitzer. Grammy Award winner Chris Brown leads the show with seven nominations and will be opening this year’s show in Vegas.

’90s R&B group and platinum selling artists  Jodeci is reuniting and will perform their new single, “Nobody Wins.”

“This slate of performances is another example that SOUL TRAIN AWARDS 2014 is the only place where soul music lovers can find the diverse combination of current chart-topping performers and reunions from their favorite hit-making groups,” said Paxton Baker, General Manager and Executive Vice President, CENTRIC. “We are pulling out all the stops this year and are thrilled to have Chris Brown and Jodeci lead the big surprises we have in store.”

This year’s theme celebrates the history of dance, from the classic Soul Train line and the electric slide, to the Dougie and this year’s breakout dance, the Nae Nae.

To bring the dance theme to life, SOUL TRAIN AWARDS 2014  Grammy Award-winning producers 1500 or Nothin’ will return as music directors for the show , along with award-winning chorographer Fatima Robinson and her 12 seasoned dancers to lead the show.
