There’s some exciting news in hip hop music. Pusha T has been hiding in the studio, busy making quality music, but he is officially back.
Complex reported last night Pusha T released his new single “Lunch Money” produced by Kanye West. The track was debuted on Google Play, but shortly after was deleted.
Fortunately, someone was able to somehow save the song and upload it for our ears to hear.
The single, “Lunch Money” is exactly what you would expect from the former “No Regrets” rapper. The beat is powerful (what else would you expect from a song produce by ‘Ye) and his lyrics hard-hitting, as usual.
Pusha T has also been working with Pharrell Williams in the studio on a follow-up album to “My Name is My Name” released in 2013. According to Billboard, the new album is reportedly titled “King Push.”
Listen to Pusha T’s new track and tell us what you think:
It’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from North Carolina rapper J. Cole.
Billboard reported that J. Cole’s new album “2014 Forest Hills Drive” is set to be released on Dec. 9, 2014.
The “She Knows” rapper announced the news on Facebook:
“What up? My New Album is finished. It’s called 2014 Forest Hills Drive and it’s very special to me. It’s available everywhere on 12/9. This time I’m releasing no singles, just the album. See you in 3 weeks. Thank you for the love and support.”
Don’t expect to hear a single on the radio; Cole made an announcement on his new album’s site:
“My new album is called 2014 Forest Hills Drive. I’m not dropping any singles. I want you to hear the album straight through, front to back. The only way to hear the album before it’s release is to enter for your chance to be invited to my house,2014 Forest Hills Drive Fayetteville, North Carolina 28303. There are very limited spots. Good luck.”
“And please take your shoes off before you walk in my crib!!!”
